- As an artist and traveler I have had the good fortune to live, work and play in some amazing locations, from the Isle of Skye to the subtropical rain forests of New South Wales, the open horizons of Iowa fields and farms, the boreal splendor of Door County WIsconsin and the shores of Lake Michigan. After thirty years of professional work in art museums and galleries in the midwest, I am inspired to record my impressions through painting en plein air as well as construct found object assemblage. These works serve as touchstones for me, to express my interest, love and sense of humor about the world.
